Our Projects
We love challenges, we
can’t help it. That’s why we enjoy every custom project that our
clients commission us to do. And if they allow us to
collaborate with other artisans, even better. This is
where we unleash our creativity based on what the client asks of us.
For us, the concept
“this can’t be done” does not exist, but
we replace it with “let’s think about it a thousand times to
see how to do it.” From
the concept that we develop together
with the client to reality, we embark on
a creative process that has a chaotic side,
of trial and error, until the spark of
inspiration emerges that leads us to the final result.

BEKIMAYA
In March 2019, Alba Castro, a Galician resident at the time in the Basque Country, called us and was launching a sustainable parenting website Crianza sostenible | Kimaya (bekimaya.com). Alba, knowing that in Galicia there has always been a long tradition of making objects out of wood, had just asked her father if he knew someone who could make those little plates for her. Coincidentally, her father had just seen a report about us in La Voz de Galicia (Dibujar la madera en femenino (lavozdegalicia.es) and he wasted no time in telling her about it.

Thank you Alba, for allowing us to participate in this beautiful project. It was a pleasure.
SARGADELOS
At Atalanta we are committed to revalorisation. We use local woods, almost forgotten for domestic use, such as birch. At the same time, we redesign everyday objects to give them a more contemporary presence.
This philosophy caught the attention of Sargadelos, who proposed to make a piece from their catalogue out of birch wood. This is how our collaboration began, turning the lids for their scented candles.

SuMaS Story of a collaboration
Outeiro and Lucenza sets
Pintureiro and Bailadora sets
Bailadora set
Conjunto Pintureiro
The SuMaS collaboration means leaving aside globalized and industrial products and betting fully on local and artisanal products, highlighting important concepts such as sustainability, know-how and respect for both raw materials and the environment.
The result is a branded, prestigious product with intrinsic and unique value that tries to respond to a demand that is fed up with standardization and that appreciates and values differentiated products.
Through this collaboration, Atalanta and Maruxío highlight craftsmanship as the germ of a new business model that bets on things well done and from km 0. These sets are designed to be used as gifts, both for individuals and companies. They can be purchased through our websites:
