The 7th generation of a family of woodturners dedicated to wood shaping since the 19th century

The future of a centuries-old craft trade

Atalanta is the fruit of the family legacy we received from our ancestors. This project was born with the vocation of updating the techniques that we learned from the master woodturners of our family, combining them with innovative procedures. Our pieces combine the authenticity of traditional craftsmanship with the elegant and minimalist aesthetics of cutting-edge design. We can create products that look to the future because our way of working is rooted in a fascinating heritage.

From Berres to the world

Atalanta is based in Berres, a parish in the heart of Galicia that was once home to 30 workshops run by prestigious woodturners. Today, we continue to write this story thanks to the wonderful forests that surround us. We use cutting-edge technology and traditional tools to care for the best raw materials and produce universal pieces for companies, restaurants, carpenters and homes around the world. all over the world

Sustainable and 100% local craftsmanship

Oak, birch, chestnut, ash… the Atalanta workshop is surrounded by forests made up of native trees that provide us with excellent quality wood. We manage the selection of the raw material, and our procedures are respectful of the forests and the environment of Berres. After all, without the best wood, we would not be able to produce exceptional pieces. Furthermore, our commitment to sustainability is reflected throughout the entire creative process at Atalanta.
